01Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Teva Stone

Medical Director · DVM

Twelve years in Northern Colorado practice before returning to hands-on medicine.

Dr. Stone was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She earned her Bachelor's in Animal Science and Master's in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from CSU in 2009.

She co-owned and partnered at a thriving veterinary hospital in Northern Colorado for over 12 years before serving as Director of Operations for a veterinary corporation. Her passion for medicine and relationship-building drew her back to hands-on veterinary work as Medical Director at Berthoud Animal Hospital.

She's also a staff veterinarian at WOLF, a local wolf sanctuary. At home, she lives with her husband Will and their two daughters, Ayslee and Ahmee.

Dr. Kaitlyn Shaheen

Veterinarian · DVM

From the Texas Hill Country to the Front Range — every patient seen as a unique individual.

Originally from the Texas Hill Country, Dr. Kate studied Animal Science and Psychology as an undergraduate and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

She started her career as a mixed animal veterinarian in Louisville, Kentucky, then completed an intensive equine internship in Tryon, North Carolina. She has treated all variations of furry family members from horses to pocket pets.

Dr. Kate prides herself in seeing each patient as a unique individual and building meaningful, trust-based relationships with their owners. When not at the clinic, she's outside with her dog Fergis, riding her horse Sebastian, fishing, running, hiking, or skiing.

Dr. Lindsey Fry

Dr. Lindsey Fry is a board-certified veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation specialist with over 16 years of experience helping dogs move comfortably and live active, pain-free lives.

A Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, she combines advanced training in pain management, rehabilitation, and acupuncture to create individualized treatment plans.

She has extensive training in sports medicine, manual therapies, geriatric care, myofascial treatments, and complex pain management. Her published research covers agility-related injuries, palliative and hospice care, chronic pain management, and acupuncture. She teaches and lectures internationally on veterinary pain management, rehabilitation, and sports medicine.

She enjoys trail running and exploring the outdoors with her family — including a Corgi named Henry, a Blue Tick Hound/Cattle Dog mix named Tippet, and a tuxedo cat named Lila Pickles Unicorn.
